Directions to Church Services

We share meeting space with the Newport United Methodist Church in Newport, MN, approximately 7 miles southeast of downtown St. Paul.  This is near the southeast corner of the Twin Cities, near where I-494 crosses the Mississippi River over the Wakota Bridge. At the east end of the Wakota bridge is the exit for 61 South. At this exit, you are within a mile of the church.

Services are normally each Saturday at 2:30PM, but may occasionally change.  Please check the Bulletin for details.

Driving Directions

FROM THE NORTH

Take Highway 61/10 south to the Glen Road exit. Take the Glen Road exit and turn left (east) onto Glen Road. Go 3 blocks on Glen Road to 11th Ave. and turn right (you will see the church sign at the base of the hill at that corner). Go about 100 yards and take the first left turn (a sharp angled turn) and go up the hill to the church parking lot.

FROM THE NORTHEAST

Take I-494 to the Bailey Road exit. Turn left on Bailey Road and go only to the first stoplight, which is Hastings Way (the frontage road). At the stoplight, turn right onto Hastings Way. Continue on Hastings Way about 8 blocks to Glen Road (the corner where the SuperAmerica store is located). Turn left (east) on Glen Road. Stay on Glen Road (curve to the right, then turn left at the stop sign right away). Go 2 blocks on Glen Road to 11th Ave. and turn right (you will see the church sign at the base of the hill at that corner). Go about 100 yards and take the first left turn (a sharp angled turn) and go up the hill to the church parking lot.

FROM THE WEST

Take I-494 east to the Hwy 61 South exit. Go south on Hwy 61 for a short stretch to the Glen Road exit. Take the Glen Road exit and turn left (east) onto Glen Road. Go 3 blocks on Glen Road to 11th Ave. and turn right (you will see the church sign at the base of the hill at that corner). Go about 100 yards and take the first left turn (a sharp angled turn) and go up the hill to the church parking lot.

FROM THE SOUTH

Take Hwy 61/10 to 12th St. Turn right on 12th St. and continue to 11th Ave. Turn left (north) on 11th Ave. Continue a few blocks on 11th until you see the church driveway on the right (there is a small blue Newport United Methodist Church sign by the guard rail) and drive up the hill into the church parking lot.
