Families for God Weekend - Theme "Families Serving the Lord" applied from Joshua 24:15: The Families for God Weekend will take place on March 12-14, 2010 this year. The location will be the, Marriott MPLS West - 9960 Wayzata Boulevard, St. Louis Park, MN 55426. Phone: 952-544-4400. Our special guest will be Doug Horchak, UCG Council Member for Friday night Bible study and the Sabbath.
The weekend will include:
Friday night Bible study - 7:00-9:30 p.m.
Sabbath services - 1:00-2:30 p.m.
Sabbath seminars for all ages - 3:00-5:45 p.m.
Family dinner - 6:00 p.m.
Variety Show - 8:00 -9:30 p.m.
Teen dinner/prom - 7:00-10:30 p.m.
Sunday (Nickelodeon Universe at the MOA) - 10 a.m.-3:00 p.m.

Seminar Topics will include:
- Tom Clark: "Submitting to One Another in the Fear of the Lord"
- Cory Erickson (Teen's Seminar):

- Tanya Horchak (Women's Seminar): "Live it, Learn it, and Pass it On"
- Galen Morrison: "Different learning motivations in Students"
- Brian Shaw: "Building Family Identity"
Men's Leadership Club: Men's club will be on Sunday, March 7th at 10:00 a.m. at the building on Concord - 4th Floor Conference Room. The next meeting after that will be on Sunday, April 4th.
Bible Study: Following services on March 20th we will have a Bible study. Please plan to bring snacks to share following the Bible study.
Teen Bible Study:There will be a teen Bible study following services March 27th in the fireside room.
Combined Church Campout: There are still a few sites available for the combined Church campout at Lake Elmo Preserve on August 27-29, 2010. The cost for the site is $47/site. If you have already requested a site, please send your payment to: United Church of God - St. Paul. Please put in the memo section that it is for the Combined Church campout. Ironwood Springs Social & Tubing Party:Services will begin at 2:30 p.m. We'll be having a Youth day for services. The annual Tubing party at Ironwood Springs Camp will take place on Saturday night, March 6th. Tubing will take place from 6-8 p.m. The cost will be $11/person. Sleigh rides will also be available at $3/person. The social's theme is "A day at the Carnival". There'll be a clown dress up contest and carnival games following tubing. We hope you can join us!
Saints Tailgate Party & Game:Mark your calendar for the Saint Paul Saints baseball game this summer! On Wednesday, August 25th church members are invited to tailgate before the 7:05 p.m. game and enjoy the fireworks afterwards. Ticket prices are $8 for adults and $7 for children.
