Hand in Hand - Families Walking With God
Micah 6:8 - "He has shown you, O man, what is good; And what does the LORD require of you But to do justly, To love mercy, And to walk humbly with your God?"
"Hand in Hand - Families Walking With God" is the theme for this year's 11th Annual Families for God weekend in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Sponsored by the Twin Cities congregations, the event will be held the weekend of March 22 and 23, 2008. Jim Franks, Operations Manager for Ministerial Services, will join us as the weekend's guest speaker.Sabbath activities include services followed by informative seminars, a catered family dinner, teen dinner/prom and a family entertainment show (performed by the Banjo Bandits). Supervised children's activities for children 2-11 are available during the seminars.
Sunday recreational activities for the whole family will take place at the Mall of America Amusement Park.
Deadline for registration is February 29, 2008.
